state-of-decay-3.com is an independent, fact-checked fan resource dedicated to State of Decay 3 — Undead Labs' open-world zombie survival sequel, targeting a February 2027 release window.

Why this site exists

When a long-awaited game finally resurfaces, search results fill up fast — and not all of it is trustworthy. Some sites recycle State of Decay 2 content — map names, weapon lists, special infected — and present it as State of Decay 3 information. Others treat the 2020 CGI concept trailer as if it showed real gameplay. We built this wiki to be the opposite of that:

• Only verified information. Every fact traces to an official source — Xbox Wire announcements, the official site and store pages, or on-record developer interviews reported by established outlets. Sources are cited at the bottom of every page.
• Honest about the unknown. State of Decay 3 is months from launch. When something hasn't been announced — the exact release date, pricing, the map's setting, the weapons roster — we say "not yet announced" instead of inventing an answer.
• Updated when news breaks. Each page carries a "last updated" date. When official news lands, the relevant pages change the same day, and the news timeline records it.
